The Brooklyn-side of the Williamsburg Bridge is one of my favorite views of the New York City skyline. Sure. But lets give the Williamsburg Bridge some credit. Built in 1903, for $24,200,000 in old-timey money, the bridge spans the East River. A new public park has opened near the base of the bridge next to the old Domino Sugar Factory building. The overall plan is to expand it into a 6-acre waterfront park, which will open in 2018.
In the meantime, the park presents some great views of our favorite bridge in NYC. Let’s take a little photo journey.
